So now I’m share about,Top 10 sports brands in the world:

1. Nike:

   The No.1 in our list of Top 10 Sports Brands is Nike. Founded in 1962, it is the leading sports brand all over the world. Nike with its famous slogan “Just Do It”, is probably the undisputed king brand in the world of sportswear and accessories. Nike is known equally for its sportwear and marketing campaigns involving biggest stars and teams. Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic endorse Nike products and feature in  their ads. Its annual sales are $27.04 billion.

2. Adidas:

The No.2 in our list of Top 10 Sports Brands is Adidas. Adidas was the official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2010, an event with a cumulative television audience of 26 billion. In the 2012 London Summer Olympics, Adidas outfitted over 5,000 athletes, and 30% of the medals captured were by athletes wearing the brand. Various footballers like Mats Hummels, Xavi, Kaka, Lionel Messi. Adidas is also the official sponsors of the UEFA Champions League. Its annual sales are $19.24 billion.

3. Puma:

The No.3 in our list of Top 10  Sports Brands is German Sports Company Puma. Initially Puma was started by two brothers  Adolf and Rudolf Dassler but relations between them decreased and they finally split resulting into division of Adidas and Puma. A number of footballers like Oliver Giroud, Marco Veratti, Mario Balotelli, Marco Reus sponsor Puma. However the most popular athlete to sponsor Puma is Usian Bolt. During fifty years of development, puma grows up from a small shoes factory in a German village into a transnational corporation worldwide and now its annual sales are $3.9 billion.

4.Sky sports:

The only sports channel to feature in our list of Top 10  Brands is Sky Sports. Sky Sports is a group of sports television channels that launched in 1991 and are operated by the British Sky Broadcasting company. Sky Sports programming includes football, rugby, cricket, golf, darts, boxing, wrestling and a host of motor sports. Sky Sports bulks the heavy arsenal of sports programming over Great Britian covering almost all major events. The company is most famous for being the broadcaster of the English Premier League. Its annual turnover is $4.1 billion.

5. Under Armour:

The No.5 into our list of Top 10 Brands is Under Armour. Formed in 1996, Under Armour’s claim to fame were the moisture-wicking shirts that were made from microfibers. These shirts managed to keep athletes dry, light and prevented the discomfort of being in a sweat soaked shirt. Its yearly sales are $3.7 billion and Currently 12% of the company’s revenue comes from footwear sales.

6. Reebok:

The oldest sports company to feature in the list of Top 10 Brands is Reebok. Reebok’s brand value actually decreased from $1.2 billion in 2012 to $1.1 billion in 2016. However, Reebok seems to be forging partnerships with fitness groups such as Spartan Race and Crossfit and may be cornering a new niche for themselves.

7. Gatorade:

The first drinks company to come into the list of Top 10 Brands is Gatorade Company Inc. Gatorade is currently manufactured by PepsiCo and is distributed in over 80 countries. Recently  competition from rivals like Powerade has eroded market share to 71% of the $6.7-billion sports-drink category from over 80% five years ago and increased marketing spending has eroded profitability.

8. FILA:

FILA is the No.8 brand to come in our list of Top 10 Brands . Fila was created the people of the Italian Alps, now manufacturing sportswear for men, women, kids and athletes. Since a takeover in 2007 by Fila Korea, Fila is now owned and operates from South Korea. Fila has offices in 11 countries worldwide.

9. K Swiss:

The next to come in our list of Top 10 Sports Brands is K-Swiss.  It was founded in 1966 by two Swiss brothers Art and Ernie Brunner who became interested in tennis after emigrating to the United States. It is currently under Korean Firm E-Land. The acquisition happened in January 2013.  The brand includes their color changing K-Swiss Tongue Twister in 2003, the Stripe Shifter, and more recently their Band Em footwear styles. Its annual sales are $0.22 billion.

10. Umbro:

The No.10 in list of Top 10 Sports Brands is British Sportswear brand, Umbro. Based in Manchester, it was a famous sports brand in the early 30’s, 40’s and supplied english teams like Preston North End, Sheffield United, Manchester United.  The company was acquired by Iconix Brand Group in 2012 from Nike. Umbro is now a globally recognized brand in Football. Its annual sales are 0.2$ billion.
